Ohio professional engineers are required to earn 30 PDH biennially. All of the required hours can be earned through online continuing education courses. EZ-pdh.com Ohio Licensee courses are accepted by the Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors. Course Content | Mandatory two hours required in professional ethics or rules relevant to the practices of engineering or surveying. Courses must cover material which is technical, ethical, or managerial content relevant to the practice of engineering. Business skills, personal development skills, computer skills unrelated to the practice of engineering, and subjects that are considered elementary or entry-level and normally expected to have been completed by a PE prior to registration are not accepted. The Board may require additional information to prove that courses covering managerial skills are relevent to the engineer’s practice |
Online Courses | Accepted. For Professional Engineers, there is no limit on the number of PDHs that can be earned through online continuing education as long as the courses meet the requirments of Ohio R.S. 4733.151.
