Knowledge of these systems can be useful to any engineer. This online course provides a brief overview of air compressors, hydraulics, boilers, cooling towers, and other components likely to be installed in an industrial facility.

- Describe the general mechanical components of industrial and power generation facilities
- Discuss the various types of air compressors, cooling towers, demineralizers, stem traps, etc.
- Describe the different features and configurations of these components
- Explain the safety hazards associated with these components
